Empowering people with long-term disabilities to live more fully.
Accessible, integrative healthcare personalized to you
Our Mission
At the Chanda Center for Health, we believe that people living with long-term disabilities have the right to create their own healthcare path, live independently, and be active members in the community. We provide disability competent healthcare, integrative services, including acupuncture, massage, physical therapy, behavioral health, care coordination, and primary care.
We aim to reduce health disparities, improve outcomes, and lower healthcare costs through compassionate, whole-person care.

What We Offer
Integrative Healthcare, Tailored to You
Our services include acupuncture, massage, chiropractic care, physical therapy, mental health, primary care, and care coordination. These therapies work together to help individuals with spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, brain injuries, and other long-term disabilities live healthy, high-quality lives.
Options for Access
Most participants receive care in person in Lakewood, Colorado. Care coordination, primary care and mental health services are also available remotely for established participants. We accept Medicaid and Medicare, and individuals may choose to pay standard rates or, qualify for discounted rates, based income. For Coloradans living outside the Denver metro area, our Remote Services program is an option, if eligible.
In addition to positive health outcomes, our services cost less than the average visit to the doctor while reducing prescription drug dependency and emergent hospital visits.
Improved Quality of Life
Improved Physical Mobility
Reduced Pain Levels

Why It Matters
Living with a long-term disability often comes with chronic pain, isolation, and medication dependency without access to preventative care due to financial and physical barriers. At the Chanda Center for Health, we focus on whole-person wellness, supporting physical and emotional well-being while creating opportunities to find connection in our community. In our 2024 Evaluation and Outcomes Report, our participants self-report their experience.

What We Offer
We are committed to improving care for those we serve beyond our center. Through policy and advocacy efforts on Medicaid waiver reform, we expand and sustain access to integrative therapies for people with disabilities statewide.
By shaping systems as well as individual care, we exemplify disability-competent and preventative healthcare, challenging the traditional healthcare narrative.
